We had just left for a week’s holiday. As we were leaving the Nimes bypass, the engine started making strange noises. We had to stop at the entrance of a small path on the side of the main road.
We called IMA who asked us a few questions on the situation and reminded us of the basic safety rules we should follow before contacting the tow service.
Our car was taken to a service center in Nimes which was approved by our mutual insurer.
Since the repair was going to take one full day, IMA also arranged for a hotel room for us and even called a taxi to take us there.
We obtained perfectly efficient service. |

When I heard a voice, I came to and understood the car had hit a big tree.
The geolocation emergency call system was triggered automatically by the impact and I was actually talking to an IMA professional. It felt so good to hear that voice!
The in-vehicle system instantly transmitted all of the necessary data for an emergency intervention.
IMA contacted the ambulance service and provided them with my GPS coordinates.
I also spoke with a doctor and heard the conversation between IMA and the local police station.
After that, everything just worked out on its own, I was taken care of by the emergency rescue team, my car was taken away... I wonder what I would have done without the “automatic emergency call system”.

I’ve been a teacher at the franco-peruvian high school in Lima for the past three years. When I was diagnosed with parasitosis, the local doctor immediately suggested I should go to hospital. I then called IMA and the medical teams reviewed my case.
The French doctor confirmed I should be hospitalized and referred me to an IMA-approved facility which was both qualified and specialized in this type of pathology.
From that point on, I received good treatment and follow-up.
Furthermore, my hospital expenses were entirely covered by IMA following a simple
contact by e-mail.

While I was traveling in Italy, my wallet was stolen.
Since I didn’t have any identification documents, nor my credit card to continue my trip, I contacted IMA, which collected some basic information and then referred me to its Italian office.
We determined how much money I would need until the end of my trip.
IMA arranged for a local service provider, a taxi as it were, to meet me and give me a cash advance.
The taxi also took me to the police station to file a complaint, and then to the French Embassy so that I could get my paperwork in order.
Thank you for this expert help. |

Someone I had rented an apartment to had not paid the rent for some time and as a result, I was facing some serious financial problems.
Not knowing what to do, I contacted the Legal and Practical Advice Department of IMA Technologies to obtain some information.
They were immediately able to provide me with information and advice concerning the procedures to be followed in my situation.
Thank you again. |

We were crossing Germany on our return trip from a tour of the Bavarian castles when my wife asked me to stop the car. She had difficulty breathing and her face had turned pale. We felt so isolated on the edge of that forest road!
I hit the emergency button on the call system I had recently had installed in my car. Immediatly, I was able to speak in French to an IMA assistance technician and a physician. The latter asked me a few specific questions and IMA services then decided to contact an emergency medical service. They were provided with our exact location and my wife’s symptoms.
I continued talking with the IMA physician while we were waiting for the “feuerwehr,” the German ambulance service.
Today, my wife thinks the emergency call system and IMA’s efficiency contributed to producing a miracle!

I called IMA because a number of tiles had been blown off following a violent storm, leaving a gaping hole in my roof.
Since damage was extensive, IMA decided to arrange for temporary accommodation in a hotel near our home.
At the same time, our assistance company arranged for a roofer to carry out the repairs.
It is always comforting to feel supported in such a situation. |

I want to thank you for everything you did for my son, Jules.
Your assistance, in addition to the help provided by the consul in Rumania, contributed to saving my son’s life. Considering his condition and the geographical situation, his return trip was difficult to organize, but you never gave up and did not hesitate to use all means available in doing so.
I didn’t think that was still possible to find such a mutualistic spirit in the materialistic world we live in today...
You made it possible to save my son, who is currently being cared for in a specialized unit of the N. hospital, where he is receiving appropriate treatment for his critical condition.
I will always be grateful to you, along with my family, for everything you have done. Even though you modestly reply you’ve just done your job, I want you to know you did it exceptionally well.
Thank you for everything.
F.C.
P.S. Feel free to publish this story if you’d like, it is the least I can do for you. |

Michelangelo, 56 years old |
Upon returning from the southernmost tip of Italy, Michelangelo and his wife contacted IMA Italy as provided for under their policy with their Italian insurer.
“I swerved to avoid hitting an animal which was crossing the road ahead of me, and look what happened!” says Michelangelo, feeling vexed by his accident.
“Very quickly, IMA services arranged for a tow-truck to get my car out of the ditch and to a competent service station. The front wheel-axle unit is damaged, my car was out of service.” he adds.
“We had to get home pretty quickly, so IMA assistance looked for the best solution in our case, and we obtained a rented car to return to the suburbs of Rome. Once my car had been fixed, IMA Italy also arranged and paid for my trip back to Lecce to pick up my car at the garage.” concludes Michelangelo.
A few days later, IMA Italy received a card in the mail from Michelangelo and his wife, thanking them for their help. |
